“My Portrait” is an original, unique, one-of-a-kind oil painting on a gilded porcelain China dessert plate, hand-signed by the internationally acclaimed artist, actor, and philanthropist, Red Skelton. The painting was completed in 1982 and presented to the family of the current owners who lived in the Midwest. The portrait of Red Skelton is quite rare because it was painted on a porcelain plate, using oil paint. Mr. Skelton painted very few portraits of himself and almost never painted on a porcelain plate.
