Independence Day

“Independence Day” is a unique, fully authorized, limited edition, porcelain plate, bearing two reproduced signatures of the artist, Red Skelton. One signature is on the front of the plate, and the other on the reverse.
This plate measures approximately 8” in diameter and is individually numbered 3298/10,000 and is dated 1991. The porcelain plate was reproduced from an original painting of the same name by Mr. Skelton.
The reverse side of the plate bears a short quotation which reads as follows:
“Independence Day”
“Our flag was born during a struggle,
four freedoms she proudly conveyed,
If we remember her pride and dignity,
we won’t wear shackles come Independence Day!”
