Freddie's Gift of Life

“Freddie’s Gift of Life” is a unique, fully authorized, limited edition, porcelain plate, bearing two reproduced signatures of the artist, Red Skelton. One signature is on the front of the plate, and the other on the reverse. This example was hand-signed in gold on the front of the plate.
This plate measures approximately 8” in diameter and is individually numbered 639/10,000 and is dated 1993. The porcelain plate was reproduced from an original painting of the same name by Mr. Skelton.
The reverse side of the plate bears a short quotation which reads as follows:
“Freddie’s Gift of Life”
“Wherever there is hunger,
Americans lessen the bitter strife.
Our flag is THE staff of mercy,
Our wheat is THEIR staff of life.”
