"The Suzee Clown" is an original, unique, one-of-a-kind drawing on a paper plate, hand-signed by the internationally acclaimed artist, humanitarian and philanthropist, Red Skelton. This work of art is unframed and measures 6” in diameter. This drawing is one of only two drawings on a plate known to exist, making the drawings extremely rare. It is a different form of art not usually associated with the artist. This is an important collectors item. The signature of the artist is a part of the actual drawing, as the “R” in Red Skelton is indeed part of the actual clown drawing. Mr. Skelton dedicated this drawing to: “Suzee Thanks Dear Heart”. The artist only used the term “Dear Heart” for special people in his life.
