This unique drawing was created in 1989 and measures 15” x 12” framed to an approximate measurement of 27” x 24”. . This linen is reported to be a portrait of an old friend of Red Skelton whom he painted many years after he first met her. He loved Red hats and orange hair, and this clown had all the features of the person who was a girl Red knew when he was a young man.
