“The Jogger” is an original, unique prismatic oil pencil drawing on linen hand-signed by the actor, comedian, and philanthropist, Red Skelton. The linen drawing features “Freddie the Freeloader”, Red’s most prominent fictional character in a park tipping his hat as if he were saying hello. He is dressed as a typical Freddie, with a black hat, and a red and white scarf wearing a pair of torn gloves. The actual linen measures approximately 19.5” x 14.5” and is framed to a measurement of 29.5” x 25”. This particular Freddie the Freeloader drawing was used by Sweats Unlimited, a Washington company, to use to promote a sweatshirt for sale. It is a delightful drawing containing the image of the person who worked tirelessly for children—always finding enough time and discarded toys to give to children in the hospital.
